I'm sitting here, scouring the net for any screencap of DeathNote where Light would be writing, weither in the DeathNote or not, because I need to know if he's right-handed or left-handed; it then occurs to me that driving to the mall, walking into Borders, picking up a DeathNote manga, and flipping through it till I see Light writing would probably yield more results then just hoping someone took the exact screenshot of the anime I need.

Also, I have more ideas for DeathNote gag comics then I thought possible of me considering I don't follow DeathNote. And there might be Light and Ryuk Muses of them in my head, which is just great. I really need a Ryuk lurking in the shadows of my mind while I'm trying to sleep at night, especially this close to Halloween.

Sooooo.....Con-Nichiwa may not be my first anime convention ever.

There is a nice girl who's going up to the Phoenix convention Halloween weekend and needs an assistant to help her run her artist's ally table. I was offered the job. I TOTALLY WANT IT YOU GUYS!!! I just have to get time off work, which I will be doing here in a moment.

She's was nice enough to say she'd share the table with me and let me sell my own pictures if I wanted, and while the thought is intriguing, I'm just as happy to be a servant monkey with gimpy wings who flails about and sells her stuff.

There's still a lot to be decided before I say "yes, I'll do this," or "no, I won't," like my job not being made of soul sucking, but I wanted to ask in the meantime:

IF I DID SELL SOME PRINTS AT THIS CONVENTION, WHAT WOULD I DRAW TO SELL?

I realize that I am severally limited by what I have not seen or am not familiar with, as well as not giving a damn about what's popular or not, and that's where I would like your guys' input.

I honestly was thinking of having two, maybe three categories for which I will draw five pictures and turn them each into 20 prints. The two categories for sure that I wanted would be "Old School Anime" and then "New School Anime." So I'd have prints of Sailor Moon, ThunderCats, DragonBallZ for the old school ones, and then things like D.Gray Man and Soul Eater for the new school category. The third category would be lesser known anime/manga (most likely manga) characters from series that I like, and I wouldn't have as many prints of them; maybe five each.

Anyways, as I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to think of as many different anime/manga series from which I can draw some inspiration, it occurs to me that asking others for input would probably help me get a better grip on what I should do. I'm Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaally hesitant to draw anything from a series I don't know anything about without having someone I know really well there to help me (like my brother who follows Deathnote so I can BotherBotherBother him for ideas), but really any suggestions are welcome.

Ummmm...all that being said, it's time for me to beg for time off.
